Here are a few tips on how to get the most out of this practice:

  • Set up your ritual space: This is a permanent space that is sacred and special to you. I recommend candles, cushions, sensual features and various items that have meaning to you. This is a space you treat with respect, keeping it clean, refreshed, and symbolising a safe intentional space for you do your practice.

  • Give yourself time: I’d recommend a good 30 minutes of quality you-time. Give yourself time to integrate afterwards, don’t rush off into a high-intensity environment straight after you’re done. Ease back into life slowly and with awareness.

  • Erase Distraction: TURN. YOUR. PHONE. OFF. I’ve made this practice downloadable so that your device can stay on aeroplane mode while you drop in.

  • Completion: It’s important to stay until the end of the practice rather than cutting it off halfway. If you’re tired or feeling restless, allow this all to be. The goal isn’t to fix, change, or to feel bad about how you’re feeling, it’s to accept where you’re at with compassion.

  • Small actions make big results: We often expect intensity within our bodies as it matches the intensity of our external environment. This is an invitation for you to soften and become aware of softer, more subtle sensations.

Remember: It’s not what you get from your practice, it’s how you treat yourself throughout your practice that matters the most.
